Self Mutilation

SpellfireInk stained paws daintily lifted the freshly copied manuscript from the desk and delivered it to the drying rack beside it. The page of the ancient book it had been copied from was lovingly and carefully turned with a fresh square of linen as to not stain the pages with the ink. Another piece of the fine parchment was brought from the drawer of the desk to replace its brother and a quill was lifted from an equally fine stand that had been crafted in the shape of a brilliant blue peacock with tiny holes in its rump to hold the quills. Its sibling, the inkpot, looked much the same except its middle was clear and the maroon ink shone through it, Spellfire

I got second place on my blue dragon I put in the art show! I really wasn't expecting it :/ I was expecting to get something for my "A sound of thunder" piece which was overall, much cooler. My worries about my book turned out to be nil; people touched the feathers but the necklace was still attached at the end of the day, but that may have been because I changed pages :P
Oh well.
I'm at meh cousin's house again so I can actually talk and not feel afraid of being caught on the computer :D
Expect pictures of said projects soon :D
